UK Lotto

UK Lotto (officially Lotto) is the flagship game of the UK National Lottery, operated by Allwyn Entertainment since February 2024 (previously by Camelot Group since 1994). It is the original and most popular lottery game in the United Kingdom. UK Lotto has created thousands of millionaires since its first draw on November 19, 1994. The game features a simple format: pick 6 numbers from 1 to 59, with a Bonus Ball drawn for second-tier prizes. The minimum jackpot is 2 million pounds, with a mandatory Must Be Won draw when the jackpot reaches its cap.

Select 6 numbers from 1 to 59 for each line. Each line costs 2 pounds. You can use Lucky Dip for randomly generated numbers. Match all 6 main numbers to win the jackpot. A 7th Bonus Ball is drawn from the remaining numbers, used to determine the second-tier prize. The Bonus Ball does not affect other prize tiers.

UK Lotto draws take place every Wednesday and Saturday at approximately 8:00 PM GMT/BST. Saturday draws are televised live on ITV.

There are 6 prize tiers: Match 6 (jackpot, minimum 2 million pounds), Match 5 + Bonus Ball (approximately 1 million pounds), Match 5 (approximately 1,750 pounds), Match 4 (approximately 140 pounds), Match 3 (30 pounds fixed), and Match 2 (free Lucky Dip). The jackpot has a rollover cap.

UK Lotto has the best jackpot odds of any major UK lottery game at approximately 1 in 45 million. Consider using Lucky Dip to avoid common number patterns. The game has a rolldown mechanism — when the jackpot reaches its cap and is not won, it rolls down to boost lower-tier prizes.
